About this Group
AAA is an organization for Asian and Pacific Islander Americans of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and heritages. The main objectives of AAA include providing an academic, social, political, and cultural support group for Asian and Pacific Islander Americans at Oberlin; to foster a mutual respect and solidarity among the diverse Asian/Pacific ethnicities in the U.S.; to recognize and nurture the wealth of talent and skill in the Asian/Pacific community; to bring to the extended college community a heightened understanding and awareness of the diverse issues facing people of Asian descent in the United States today.
