Fisher Gallery, Clarence Ward ’74 Art Building
Photo by John Seyfried When originally built, this was a 200-seat auditorium in the center of the Clarence Ward ’37 Art Building. It had a “multitude of modern conveniences,” including dimmable lights, automatic curtains, and a public address system. With generous support of benefactor Milton L. Fisher in 1994, the auditorium was transformed into Fisher Hall, a multiputpose gallery and lecture hall. The Department of Art uses Fisher Gallery for a range of art installations and performances, including exhibitions in the depaprtment’s capstone Senior Studio program.
