As a follow-up to the September 30 event Working with the Media: A Conversation with Faculty with author D.T. Max,  Hal Sundt (Writing and Communication) will lead an informal lunchtime workshop for interested faculty and staff on pitching publications and agents. Drawing on his experience as both a working writer and lecturer on the topic, Hal will share examples of successful pitch letters, strategies that have worked for him, and tips for navigating the submissions process. The session will be practical, hands-on, and open for discussion. Bring your lunch—we’ll provide the coffee!
