Blake Logan is an awardee of the Dolores '54 and Donald '57 White Prize.
Blake will present a performance titled "Out of Silence: Visionaries of Sound Old and New". This program features the music of Dolores White and other female and Black composers whose work is similarly visionary. Ranging from America to Poland and Iceland, this recital traces a thread of tradition and innovation through all its works.

About the White Prize
The Dolores ’54 and Donald ’57 White Prize Fund was established in 2021 to provide awards to Conservatory students who demonstrate leadership in elevating Oberlin Conservatory’s diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging goals through music performance. Prizes are awarded for performance-based projects demonstrating students’ commitment to supporting diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging in music and commitment to excellence in music performance. Conservatory visitors are asked to enter the complex through either Bibbins Hall’s east entrance (off College Place, across from the Oberlin College Bookstore) or the Conservatory Lounge’s west entrance (off S. Professor St., adjacent to the Conservatory Pond). All other entrances will be closed to the public.
