Join us for a presentation by Emma Hart ‘23, who recently returned to the U.S. from her time on the Thomas J. Watson Fellowship pursuing a project on “Violence Prevention: Promoting Positive Masculinities and (Men)tal Health.” In her talk, Emma will discuss how spaces that promote healthy masculinities and encourage vulnerable conversation are key to reducing men’s harm towards themselves and others, and she will share her experiences speaking and working alongside stakeholders in masculinity-focused prevention, including those concentrated on boys’ and men’s mental health, equal parenting, behavior change for people who perpetrated violence, and survivor-centered support.
