Stephanie Wiles, PhD, former John G. W. Cowles Director of the Allen Memorial Art Museum and current Richard J. Schwartz Director of the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University, will discuss how audiences, and in particular students, are seeking experiences that will challenge the way they think about a subject and change their approach to research and learning. It's up to museums to find novel ways to use art to help transform their perspectives.
This talk is sponsored by an Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Campus Museum and Library Collaboration Grant to Oberlin College.
