This lunchtime roundtable will explore the role of Asian American studies as a scholarly discipline, component of college curricula, and site of civic and political engagement.
Participants include Professors Judy Wu (history, Ohio State University), Moon-Ho Jung (history, University of Washington), Rick Baldoz (sociology, Oberlin) and Maria Paz Esguerra (comparative American studies, Oberlin), MRC APA Community Coordinator Kristen Surla, and third-year students Joelle Lingat and Kaela Sanborn-Hum. A pizza lunch will be provided.
