Oberlin College and Conservatory

Sustainable Infrastructure Project (SIP) Tour

Friday, December 9, 2022 at 10:00am to 11:00am

Adam Joseph Lewis Center for Environmental Studies
122 Elm Street, Oberlin, OH 44074

This fall, work continues to help Oberlin College reach its ambitious goal of carbon neutrality by 2025.

The campus energy infrastructure will be upgraded to allow a major shift from fossil fuels to a renewable energy based district energy system as the primary source for heating and cooling our campus buildings. This is the third year of a four-year project.

Please join Joel Baetens from the Office of Environmental Sustainability for a tour to learn more about Oberlin's goals and to ask your questions.

The tours will take place the second Friday of the month throughout the fall semester, and they will start at the south steps of the AJLC. Participants should be prepared to walk for several blocks outdoors.
