The glowing colors in Alexej von Jawlensky's 1912 painting, Head of a Woman, show the influence of the Fauves, while the heavy, dark outlines recall the work of Paul Gauguin. AMAM docent Izzy Halloran ’22 focuses on the work in a Sunday Object Talk.
Please meet in the King Sculpture Court.
