Bassam Haddad is director of the Middle East and Islamic Studies Program and associate professor at the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University. The Knowledge Production Project (KPP) is an open-access archive, search tool, and data visualization platform that give users unprecedented access to sources of information about the Middle East since 1979. 

Prof. Haddad will present on the English-language archive that catalogs resources (from peer-reviewed journals and translated books to films and websites), and discuss the project’s origin, nature, and function in relation to Middle East Studies and the process (and politics) of knowledge production.
