The AMAM welcomes Oberlin students back to classes with the kickoff of its biweekly Allen Online series: A video talk on Amedeo Modigliani’s Nude with Coral Necklace, presented by Lola Chalmers-Dibbell ’23.

Chalmers-Dibbell, a docent at the AMAM, will discuss several of Modigliani’s influences, and examine how the work aligns and interferes with a tradition of portraying reclining female nude subjects.

Future events in our Allen Online series will continue throughout the year on the first and third Thursdays of each month.
