This workshop for children ages 7 and up will explore sounds that are not heard in every day life. Children and parents will go on a scavenger hunt for these hidden sounds.
To capture sounds, we will use simple tools—magnets and coils of copper wire—-to make our own home made microphones and then we’ll play back sounds through speakers that we make, too. We’ll share some of our favorite sounds at the end of the workshop.
