Oberlin Heritage Center 73½ South Professor Street, Oberlin Ohio 44074
Enjoy a cool break and stop by the Oberlin Heritage Center for a refreshing root beer float and a fun afternoon of old-fashioned games, live historical music performances, re-enactors portraying Lucy Stone and Sojourner Truth, and much more!
Why root beer?
Learn about chemistry professor (1880-1912) Frank Jewett’s penchant for the bubbly drink, which he liked to make in his 19th-century home, now one of three beautifully preserved historic buildings that the Heritage Center will have open for tours and activities. Join us for an afternoon of merriment. Free.
