Ivy Newman is the founder and President of Viney Group, LLC – a boutique marketing management firm in New York City. Ivy concentrates on strategically working with executives and business owners on how to structure and creatively implement the right marketing plan to increase business. Since 2011, she has managed various marketing projects for more than 100 institutions to deliver profitable results. Her clients have included The City of New York, AOL, and Columbia University, among others.
Prior to starting The Viney Group, Ivy spent eight years in the arts and entertainment industry where she developed her creative, marketing and branding skills. She started in the industry as a marketing associate and quickly worked her way to becoming the director of marketing for various New York-based institutions. Her responsibilities included leading marketing efforts to develop new and existing patrons while managing creative services for business development and strategic initiatives, media, fundraising and external affairs. She specializes in strategic marketing, brand management, and creative design.
A native of Richmond, Virginia, Ivy holds an M.A. from Columbia University and B. Mus. from Oberlin College. Among other things, she is an international speaker and published author of A Space Called Chastity. Currently, she lives in New York City.
