The history of piano at Oberlin is a long and distinguished one, with former graduates enjoying successful careers.  Students at Oberlin have gone on to win prizes in some of the world’s most prestigious competitions, including the Queen Elizabeth Competition in Brussels, Chopin Competition in Warsaw, Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Masters Competition in Tel Aviv, Van Cliburn Competition in Ft Worth, Naumberg Competition in New York City, Gina Bachauer Competition in Salt Lake City, and the William Kapell Competition in College Park, MD.  Oberlin piano alumni also hold prominent academic positions across the globe.
