This beginners workshop introduces Photoshop to people who have never used it before or would like to improve their skills. We go through a project which involves using various basic adjustment tools for brightness, color, etc. Then students learn how to use layers, brushes, the crop tool, and the pattern making tool. Lesson 1 concludes with using text in Photoshop. The final result is a comic illustrated in Photoshop. Intermediate lessons will focus on the liquefy tool, the pattern tool, and the patch tool to experiment with professional image adjustment techniques.
