Oberlin has often highlighted the work of alumni who have found success in the mainstream media (New York Times, NPR, etc.) but there are many Obies working for alternative, non-corporate outlets as well. At this panel, Obies working for independent radio, print and online news sources will discuss issues of media ethics, funding sources, fact checking, and showcase underrepresented voices.
