Arts Advocacy Days is a two-day event bringing representatives from the Ohio Arts Council and the Ohio Citizens for the Arts to Oberlin’s campus! Two public sessions will take place with each organization where students and community members can learn about arts funding in the United States, local and national resources for artists, and arts advocacy training.
For this first session, we will be joined by Justin Nigro from the Ohio Arts Council, who will present a workshop about arts funding in the United States, including specific programming and resources from the Ohio Arts Council and information about other state arts councils’. This session will cover national arts issues and policy, as well as time for discussion and Q&A with Justin.
Pizza will be provided!
