Concert: Odell Fox

Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 8:00pm to 9:30pm

Fairchild Chapel, Bosworth Hall
50 West Lorain Street, Oberlin, OH 44074

Oberlin Songwriters Presents: Odell Fox, a three-man singing and songwriting operation based out of Austin, TX. The group is comprised of Raph Odell Shapiro (vocals, guitar, harmonica),  Jenner Snow Fox (vocals, guitar, mandolin), and Hans Theodore Bilger (vocals, upright bass, resophonic ukulele).

First friends and now brothers, Odell Fox met as students in New England, sharing new songs and old secrets around late-night circles. Now pilgrims in the Live Music Capital of the World, they have refined their unique style of folk Americana, a sound predicated upon three distinct songwriting styles, three distinct voices, coming together in harmony. They have drawn comparisons to the Wood Brothers and the Dave Rawlings Machine, with a live show that is diverse, honest, and always joyful.

Kieran Minor is a second-year and current treasurer of Oberlin Songwriters (OSW.) He will be presenting new original music with Joanna Quinn (drums) and Rex Simmons (bass).
