Hear the broadcast. 

On this week's broadcast of the Oberlin Conservatory Large Ensembles on Oberlin Stage Left, the Oberlin Orchestra, led by Professor Raphael Jiménez, presents Haydn's Symphony No. 44 and Cuban composer Alejandro García Caturla's First Cuban Suite (1932). The Contemporary Music Ensemble and Sinfonietta, led by Professor Tim Weiss, perform two works written by women—Svara-lila by Indian-American composer Asha Srinivasan and Januaries by London-based Australian composer Lisa Illean.
