About this Event
Although Brahms’ Horn Trio in E-flat Major, Op. 40 was originally written for natural horn, violin, and piano, tonight’s Stage Left features the composer’s own reworking of the piece in which the horn part is replaced by viola. Join us in welcoming the newest member of the Oberlin violin faculty, Francesca dePasquale, in performance with viola professor Kirsten Docter ’92 and pianist Adam Golka.
Prior to the concert, listen in as dePasquale and Docter chat about the music and their experience collaborating in a chamber music setting wearing masks and socially-distanced.
