The San Pedro Sula_Portal is located on the regional campus of the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH) in San Pedro Sula, the industrial capital of Honduras. UNAH is the leading institution of higher education in the country and maintains a strong commitment with Honduran academy, research, science, culture and development. 

The Portal is run by the Organization for Youth Empowerment (OYE), a youth development NGO located in the nearby city of El Progreso.

OYE is dedicated to educate, empower and engage disadvantaged youth to break the cycle of poverty and become agents of change in their homes, schools and communities.
