Christa Rakich '75, visiting professor of organ, leads a workshop on keyboard improvisation titled, "How To Sound Like Messiaen". Participants will learn fundamentals of organ improvisation such as the octatonic scale, patterns to create chorale preludes, scherzos, and toccatas, among other topics. Pianists and organists of all skill levels are encouraged to join.
