Soundpainting is the universal multidisciplinary live composing sign language for musicians, actors, dancers, and visual artists, developed by Walter Thompson. Join Drew Pattison '10, assistant professor of bassoon, in this workshop to engage in improvisation and group interaction through the conducted Soundpainting language.

Students will learn about the Soundpainting course at Oberlin and opportunities to participate in future Soundpainting opportunities on campus. This workshop is open to musicians, dancers, and performing artists. Instrumentalists should plan to bring their instruments.

This workshop is open to the public. Free admission.
