Oberlin Dance Company presents somewhere good, a gallery/dance exhibit in the Wurtzel Theater on Friday May 20th and Saturday May 21st at 8pm, artistic directed by Professor of Dance Al Evangelista. This exhibit is the culmination of multiple workshops throughout the semester for a community-based project between Kendal at Oberlin residents, Oberlin Conservatory ESOL students, and Oberlin dance students. The project invites the integration of loss, tradition, and community using storytelling, memory, and embodiment.
