Neurodiversity Celebration Week (March 18-22) is a worldwide initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences. It aims to transform how neurodivergent individuals are perceived, creating more inclusive and equitable cultures that celebrate differences and empower every individual. The Office for Disability and Access will host an information table on March 20 from 2-4 p.m. in the Wilder Lobby in recognition of Neurodiversity Celebration Week.
Our goals are to:
- Increase awareness, understanding, and acceptance of the neurodiverse community.
- Highlight the talents and strengths of the neurodiverse community.
- Challenge stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences.
The table will include fidgets, sensory jar making, and sharing strengths.
