A collaboration concert with Oberlin Conservatory voice and string students and pianists of the Oberlin-Como Piano Academy and the International Piano Academ Lake Como.

This concert program is an extension of a 2017 Winter Term project led by Professor Philip Highfill that made an intensive study of songs by Franz Schubert based on poems by Austrian poet and librettist Johann Mayrhofer (1787-1836). Mayrhofer wrote poems or libretti for 47 of Schubert’s songs and two of his operas.
