Maytal Schmidt ’10 was sexually assaulted while she was a student at Oberlin. She pressed charges and the person who assaulted her was ultimately prosecuted.
Maytal now works with people who have been convicted of sexual offenses. She will speak about her personal journey through healing and forgiveness as well as her clinical work with people who commit sexual offenses.
This is a Consent Month event sponsored by the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, and the Departments of Gender Sexuality and Feminist Studies, and Religion.
