Line Hoven was born in Bonn, Germany. After working as an assistant costume and set designer at the Kassel State Theatre, she decided to explore something new. She went on to study visual communication at the Art School in Kassel. Two years later, she transferred to the University of Applied Sciences Hamburg to study illustration. She graduated and is now a freelance illustrator and comic artist.
