Pilates is a discipline that increases flexibility, strength, balance, and body awareness, with a particular focus on using one's core as the foundation for movement.
This class progresses through a variety of dynamic positions and movements, most of which can be easily adjusted to accommodate more advanced or more beginning participants.
In addition to stretching and strengthening different muscle groups, we pay particular attention to how our work can help you find increased performance and stability in other activities you enjoy.
We also seek to release tightness that results from too much time sitting at your desk and give you movement strategies to integrate into everyday life.
Each class is a little different, and accommodations can be made for many injuries or other limitations.
