Celebrating its 10th anniversary season, Seraph Brass was founded by trumpet soloist Mary Elizabeth Bowden with a mission to showcase the excellence of female brass players and highlight musicians from marginalized groups, both in personnel and in programming. In this session, the members of Seraph Brass will lead a conversation with students, sharing their experiences and insights as touring musicians, educators, and entrepreneurs. Speakers will include Mary Elizabeth Bowden, trumpet; Raquel Samayoa, trumpet; Rachel Velvikis, horn; Elisabeth Shafer, trombone and Robyn Black, tuba.

Students are encouraged to register in advance.  But they may also register upon arrival.


The Seraph Brass will be performing in Finney Chapel on Friday, Oct. 13 at 7:30pm.  Contact Central Ticketing Services for concert tickets.
