Labor & Learning: New Studio Art Faculty Exhibition 2022

This exhibition features recent research by Oberlin College Studio Art faculty including Michael Boyd Roman, Francis Wilson, Laura Truitt, R. Kauff, Charisse Harris, Alex Hanson, and Kasia Ozga. The exhibition will be on view from October 28 through December 3 during gallery open hours: Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m..

This group show brings together a variety of work in different media by new faculty that have joined the department in the past year. By foregrounding an alternate version of Oberlin’s motto, we ask how work and education are intertwined in this moment in time, and how these forces can coexist in the future, both in the context of an art department and within the wider world. As we navigate the challenges and opportunities of teaching in a new environment, we are excited to share our own visual productions with the community!
