About this Event
600 Kendal Drive
http://aimeelee.net/artist_statement/A show of artworks created from handmade paper by Oberlin alumna Aimee Lee. Exhibit open to the public through March 16. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
My main material is paper. I make paper with abundant native and invasive species, often from root to sheet. This includes growing and harvesting plants, stripping and cooking them, processing them into pulp, forming sheets, and drying them. After this transformation, I make books, pieced and fused drawings, prints, sculpture, installations, and performance components.
