Do you have gently used jewelry that needs a new home? Do you care about the education and empowerment of young Appalachian women? Do you want to help a nonprofit continue its transformational programming?

DONATE YOUR JEWELRY to the High Rocks Jewelry Drive, running at Oberlin College now through November 8.

Just drop off your jewelry in the bright pink box at Wilder Desk and Anita Peebles will come pick it up and send it to High Rocks for you. It will then be sold to raise money for High Rocks.

High Rocks is a nonprofit based in Hillsboro, WV with the mission of educating, empowering and inspiring young Appalachian women. They run camps for middle school and high school girls in the summer and do tutoring, arts programs and college access programs for girls and the wider community throughout the year. Oberlin has a history of sending college volunteers to High Rocks for summer internships and IYS trips. Check them out on Facebook or at highrocks.org.

To donate: put your jewelry (clean, gently used) in a bag with your estimate of what it might be worth. All jewelry is accepted! Then, drop in off in the box on Wilder Desk. The box will be checked every night.
