Japanese Literary Studies Conference AJLS

Oberlin College will host the 26th Annual Conference of the Association for Japanese Literary Studies. The theme of this year’s international conference will be Violence, Justice, & Honor in Japan’s Literary Cultures. 

The aim of this interdisciplinary conference is to re-examine our ethical, imaginative, political, and creative engagements with violence in expressive cultures.  

The two-day conference is February 16 and 17, 2018. It is open to the campus. Registration is required.
