DESCRIPTION:An interactive drumming session with Third Coast Percussion tak
 ing place outside at the Kohl Plaza\, a ground-level plaza between the Koh
 l Building and the Conservatory Complex.\n\nExplorations will include spec
 ific rhythm patterns\, improvisation\, and ways to make music as a collabo
 rative ensemble. This activity is open to all levels of musical experience
 .\n\nA limited supply of instruments will be made available (up to 20). Pa
 rticipants may bring their own hand drum and/or shakers.\n\nIf case of inc
 lement weather\, the activity will move indoors to Conservatory Central 25
 .\n\nThird Coast Percussion will be performing with violinist Jessie Montg
 omery in Finney Chapel on Wednesday\, April 30 at 7:30pm. Contact Central 
 Ticketing Services for concert tickets.\n\n-----\n\nConservatory visitors 
 are asked to enter the complex through either Bibbins Hall’s east entran
 ce (off College Place\, across from the Oberlin College Bookstore) or the 
 Conservatory Lounge’s west entrance (off S. Professor St.\, adjacent to 
 the Conservatory Pond). All other entrances will be closed to the public.
