The Studio Art Department would like to invite members of the Oberlin community to join us for the closing reception of the exhibition, If Walls Could Talk.

Professor of Art, Sarah Schuster, has taught painting at Oberlin College since 1988 and in honor of her retirement, we have organized our first alumni and student show. All of the almost 100 people exhibiting their work have taken at least one class with Professor Schuster and have sustained a visual arts practice in any medium. Some participants have careers as artists and many work in other fields, but all of them consider creating artwork central to their lives and who they are. We scheduled the reception to coincide with the first night of the Alumni Reunion and hope many of you will see the work and join in the celebration.
