Guest Recital: "The Innocents" with Allen Otte '72 and John Lane, percussion

Sunday, September 15 at 4:30pm to 6:30pm

David H. Stull Recital Hall
77 West College Street, Oberlin, OH 44074

A guest recital by percussionists Allen Otte '72 and John Lane.

The Innocents is a social justice through arts advocacy project created by Allen Otte and John Lane. Using a variety of found-object and home-made instruments, electronic soundscapes, and creative texts including the words of prisoners themselves, two professional percussionists address issues of wrongful imprisonment, the American criminal justice system, and the process of exoneration. Through performance and discussion, art and social justice are brought face to face.
