Guest artists and Oberlin Conservatory alumni Mark Sparks '82 and Robert Spano '84 will present a recital of duo works for flute and piano in Kulas Recital Hall.
Conservatory visitors are asked to enter the complex through either Bibbins Hall’s east entrance (off College Place, across from the Oberlin College Bookstore) or the Conservatory Lounge’s west entrance (off S. Professor St., adjacent to the Conservatory Pond). All other entrances will be closed to the public.

About the artists:
Mark Sparks served as principal flutist of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra from more than 20 years. He retired from that position in May 2021. He is currently on the faculty of DePaul University and the Aspen Music Festival and frequently presents clinics and recitals in the U.S. and abroad.
Robert Spano is a pianist, composer, conductor, teacher, and six-time Grammy-winning music director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, music director of the Aspen Music Festival and School, and music director designate of the Fort Worth Symphony.
