A guest master class for Conservatory cellists, presented by Sunny Yang, cello, in Central 21.
Sunny Yang is a versatile cellist and committed educator, and has collaborated with many of the world’s most accomplished composers and performers.
As a member of the Kronos Quartet from 2013-2023, she continually reimagined the string quartet experience. She has performed around the world, commissioned more than 500 new works, and released over 15 recordings. She received the Grammy Award for Best Chamber Music for her collaboration album with Laurie Anderson, Landfall. She has led workshops and masterclasses with Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute, the Embassy Adoption Program with Washington Performing Arts, among other institutions in the United States and overseas.

Conservatory visitors are asked to enter the complex through either Bibbins Hall’s east entrance (off College Place, across from the Oberlin College Bookstore) or the Conservatory Lounge’s west entrance (off S. Professor St., adjacent to the Conservatory Pond). All other entrances will be closed to the public.
