 r. Saxbe will present a program of research on the neurobiology of parenth
 ood. Her interest in dads started during her childhood in Oberlin and cont
 inues in her laboratory at the University of Southern California\, where s
 he follows first-time fathers from pregnancy across the postpartum period.
  In this talk\, she will describe why fathers are both strange and importa
 nt\, and share some findings on the brains and hormones of fathers.
