Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies will be hosting a Reproductive Justice Symposium that is the culmination of 2022-2023 GSFS programming that has included two modules exploring the recent overturn of Roe v. Wade.

The Pop-up School will offer workshops on topics such as “Not All Religions: An Interfaith Lens on Reproductive Justice,” “Reproductive Justice 101,” and “Parenting with Pride: An Unconventional Guide to Having Children.”

Invited seminar leaders for the Pop-up School include: Chris Barcelos (UMass Boston,Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies), Margaret Velto ’22 and Tory Sparks ’17 (both former GSFS majors working in public and reproductive health), Jordyn Close (Ohio Women’s Alliance), Ash Williams (Sistersong), the Oberlin Doula Collective, the Oberlin Reproductive Justice Alliance, and the MRC.
