Animals In Space: An Ecofeminist Perspective

A lecture by the activist, educator, scholar, and writer Greta Gaard on ecofeminism's contribution to the understanding of space exploration ideology. Dr. Gaard will discuss narratives of gender, species, and culture and what scientific pursuits tell us about contemporary environmental problems in 2013.

This is an Ecolympics event sponsored by the Office of Environmental Sustainability, the Environmental Studies Program, and Oberlin Animal Rights.
