"From 1919 to 1989 via 1957: Student Activism in Maoist China," presented by Yidi “Woody” Wu '11. She is currently an assistant professor history at St. Mary’s College, where she writes and researches about China under Mao; and student activism and social movements in East Asia; 20th-century Chinese higher education.

Wu received a bachelor‘s degree in history (high honors) at Oberlin College and an MA and PhD in history at the University of California, Irvine.
