As part of the North American British Music studies biennial conference, please join us for the world premiere of Anthony Cheng’s film, Hidden Music: Within Ian Venables. Venables’ reputation as one of the United Kingdom’s finest composers of art song finds voice in this new documentary. It explores how how Venables’ love of music -- and his friends love of him -- have shaped the live of one of the country’s most respected composers.

A talkback with the Anthony Cheng will be moderated by Prof. Justin Vickers of Illinois State University.
