Spruce up your residence hall or office with a rented work of art. The Art Rental line forms outside back courtyard doors (north side of the building, off Lorain Street); students may line up at the bottom of the entrance ramp. Please don’t block door.
Art Rental takes place on a first-come, first-served basis. Students must hold their own place in line.
Students will be admitted to Art Rental in groups of five beginning at 8 a.m..
A maximum of two works only can be rented.
Students may select one or two artworks and take them to the checkout desk, have a valid Oberlin College I.D. and cash or check ready.
Sorry, no credit cards.
Cost: $5 per work per semester.
Oberlin College faculty and staff also may rent but, like students, must hold their own place in line.
Exit down north stairs and out rear door of museum. No works may be carried through the museum galleries.
Be careful to hold the works firmly and try not to bang frames on stairs or Museum fixtures.
Art Rental return day will be Wednesday, December 5, between 9 am and 4:30 pm, 2nd floor, Allen Memorial Art Museum. There will be a late fee of $10 per work per day for works returned on or after that date. You may return your rentals any time the building is open, including weekends and Mondays.
Prior to return week, rental return reminders will be sent to all renters via email.
