Exploring Landscapes to Portraiture in Watercolor

Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 12:30pm to 2:30pm

Firelands Association for the Visual Arts (FAVA), 2nd Floor Classroom
39 South Main Street, Oberlin, OH 44074

Students will explore techniquues in watercolor with instructions and demonstrations by the instructor in class. Subject matter is "open" though students can pick and choose from subject matter provided by the instructor.

Students are responsible for bringing or purchasing their own supplies, though some materials will be provided. The most important goal that students should/will come away with is to shed timidity. Understand that painting in watercolor can be a joy-or it can be frustrating as the devil, however, staying "loose" will overcome most problems!

Need-based scholarships are available.

This class is for all skill levels, beginner–advanced, ages 17+
