During this one-hour guided walking tour through Oberlin’s historic and picturesque memorial park you’ll be greeted by several Oberlin business owners and tradespeople from the past sharing their stories.
Costumed interpreters portray innkeeper and dry goods store owner Marx Straus, tea shop proprietor Rachel Brightman Rawdon, milliner Marie de France, insurance company owner Helen Gorske Sperry, and Henry Lee, a formerly enslaved 19th century civil rights advocate and entrepreneur.
The Oberlin Heritage Center hosts this engaging, non-scary, Halloween season event; advance registration is required.
Tickets are $10 adults/$5 children ($8/$4 for OHC members) and proceeds benefit the Heritage Center’s ongoing operations.
