Professor Eric Hanushek, Hoover Institute, Stanford University, will talk about his reccent book (with Paul Peterson & Ludger Woessman), "Endangering Prosperity:  A Global View of the American School."

The achievement of U.S. student is seriously lagging behind that much of the developed countries of the world.  As economies become increasingly knowledge-based, the well being of the United States will be seriously affected by improving our schools.  Indeed, improving schools is the way out of the current fiscal problems of the United States.
