El Centro Volunteer Initiative will be hosting a Spring Art Gala on April 14th from 7-10 pm in the Carnegie Hall Root Room to help raise funds for Lorain residents’ citizenship applications. The gala is a collaboration with YeoPress and Pottery Coop and is sponsored by Obies for Undocumented Inclusion and La Alianza Latinx.

The Spring Art Gala is an opportunity for students, faculty, and community members to view and purchase student art donated by YeoPress, the Pottery Co-op, and individual artists. Citizenship applications alone cost $725, so this event is critical to ensuring our students can reach their goals.

Bidding on art is open from 7-9 pm, and attendees can enjoy free food, drink, and live music until 10pm. Formal wear is recommended.
